Outdoor

Buddies adopts a proactive, all weather approach to outdoor play and this is reflected in  our vast range of outdoor experiences. Development of physical skills is enhanced with the use of wheeled toys, natural materials for building, sports equipment etc. Sensory experiences can be broadened by  interaction with the Forest school and planting areas. Children have the opportunity to plant seeds and vegetables in our gardens and growing plot, and reap the harvest. Regular story telling and whole group  time takes place in our sheltered meeting area.

Buddies Team

Our team are all suitably qualified or are working towards qualification, have relevant experience and have  undergone full Criminal Record Bureau checks. The Manager and several of our room staff have gained  Early Years Teacher Status or are Qualified teachers. Persons in charge of each area of provision are qualified to at least NVQ level 3 appropriate to the post. All our team members are committed to ongoing training ensuring the highest standards of care at Buddies are maintained.
